Really real. During a time where its hard to tell where things come from, what they're made out of, or where the money's going, Sowasa Studio works to make handmade ceramics accessible to the everyday person in a way that's transparent and educational.  

With 15 years of experience in industrial design and brand development, we know what "business as usual" looks like and gave it a hard pass. Working creatively alongside small business owners, we trust what your needs are, listen to your constraints, and help prioritize creative development to grow intentionally.

After a career developing products for large brands (from Vitamix and Keurig to Peloton and YETI), Clare founded Sowasa to rediscover why she fell in love with industrial design in the first place: to create useful things and solve problems for people.

This time around, it’s bigger than the T H I N G S we use in our day to day. It's part of why she's headed to UT Austin's LBJ School for a Master of Public Affairs. She wants economic progress to actually work for everyday people, not just look good on a balance sheet, and she's applying everything she learned building physical products to a much bigger, weirder problem: figuring out sane policy guardrails for data centers.
